Pionero del Rock, Jerry Lee Lewis era apodado como The Killer (El Asesino) por su personalidad y puesta en escena. En 1986 entro a formar parte del Salón de la Fama del Rock y posteriormente en el Salón de la Fama del Rockabilly. Su vida fue llevada a la gran pantalla en la película Gran bola de fuego, donde fue encarnado por el actor Dennis Quaid.
