Nos hemos decantado por una banda de los años sesenta y setenta, con un diferenciado estilo vocal, nacidos en Manchester y que nos dejaron una de las canciones más románticas que recuerdo. Accedereis a su página Web pinchando aquí: The Hollies

Pero esta canción que ellos hicieron tan popular no esta escrita por otro que por el grande Albert Hammond, el que la sacó a la luz en 1972 en su propio álbum.

De todas maneras, no llegó a ser hit hasta 1974 de manos de The Hollies una mina de éxitos que más adelante iremos descubriendo. Mi padre siempre fue fan de Hammond y hará cosa de un año llegó a casa un disco de todas sus canciones, estas vez con su voz y no bajo el nombre de los artistas a las que siempre se las proporcionó.
