Hoy os traemos algo especial, un artista que empezó sus andadas en los años 30 conocido por la música calipso, y con esto nos referimos a representaciones musicales que tienen su origen en la tradición griot de África Occidental. Canciones cantadas por esclavos y ex-esclavos de Trinidad y Tobago en comunidad.

Hubert Raphael Charles murió a los 91 años tras una carrera de casi 65 años. Nos regalo temas muy conocidos como "Ugly Woman", "Mary Ann" o "If You Wanna Be Happy" que fue numero uno de la lista Billboard Hot 100.

Pero la canción que hemos elegido es Love Thy Neighbour, del año 1978 y la hemos descubierto en el final de un capitulo de Weeds.

And so we all should endeavour assiduously

That the other man is worth quite as much or more than you
